Helen is a research manager for BC RESURECT. She has been involved in coordinating clinical trials since 1999. She currently manages the pre-hospital Cardiac Arrest registry, The PulsePoint Study, The EpiDOSE study and all other studies that involve the registry database Prior to transitioning to research she was an RN working in St. Paul’s Emergency Department.

Scott has been a Primary Care Paramedic with BC Emergency Health Services for 7 years. His professional interests are focused on prehospital medicine, project management, paramedic research and collaborative team development. He holds a paramedic research position with Providence Health Research Institute under Dr Brian Grunau working on research projects involving COVID-19 and Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests. Scott is passionate about leadership, quality improvement and change management. He is heavily involved in provincial and national research initiatives in addition to other special projects with the ambulance service. Scott is a strong proponent of prehospital research and evidence-based practice development. Outside of work Scott is a new father, avid runner and student at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Nair has completed her Medical Degree and Clinical training in the United Kingdom. After graduation, she continued her specialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her past research experience includes her involvement in multiple CQUIN studies and The Mind Over Matter Study Quality Improvement Project and Service Evaluation of the .B Mindfulness project. Dr. Nair has focused her career on Academic Medicine and Public Health. She is also currently pursuing her Master of Science in Public Health from the University of London, Kings College London.

Sarah is a research and finance manager for BC RESURECT. She has been involved in coordinating clinical trials since 1999. She currently manages the prehospital portion of the FRONTIER stroke study. Prior to transitioning to research she was an RN working in St. Paul’s Emergency Department.

Dr. Singh is Doctor of General Medicine from India and working to obtain licence to practice in Canada. He has a master’s degree in Global Health from Texas and has worked on research projects in infectious diseases, dermatology, and geriatrics. In addition to his academic career, he is am passionate about writing poetry and I publishing on his WordPress blog.

Uda is the research coordinator for BC RESURECT’s CanSAVE group. She has a background in program evaluation and managing impact studies in STEM education. She is interested in research that is committed to seeking out gaps in care and implementing cutting-edge therapies in communities where research and corresponding care are currently inequitable.
